Equine Eye Vision - camera solar panel only
The USB Solar Panel connects to the Equine Eye Vision camera. The solar panel cable is approximately 5 to 6 feet (1.5–1.8 metres) long
Keep your Equine Eye Vision camera powered for longer with the Equine Eye Vision Solar Panel.
Important: Before connecting the solar panel, the camera must first be fully charged using the supplied wall charger. The solar panel is designed to maintain the camera's battery level, rather than recharge a completely flat battery.
Once connected, the amount of power the solar panel provides will depend on the amount of direct sunlight it receives. When installed in a location with good sun exposure, it can help maintain the camera's battery for extended periods, reducing the need for frequent recharging from a power outlet.

How does the Venture camera connect to the monitor?
The Venture camera connects directly to its dedicated monitor using a 2.4GHz digital wireless signal. It does not require Wi-Fi, a SIM card, or a mobile phone to operate, making it ideal for monitoring your horse while travelling.
What makes the Venture different from the Vision and Voyager cameras?
The Venture is ideal for customers who are looking for a trailer camera with an independent screen that doesn’t use data or WIFI.
- Vision is a completely portable horse camera that can be used in multiple locations; from trailers to barns and paddocks. It uses a 4G/5G SIM card and is best suited to monitoring horses in fixed locations with good cellular coverage.
- Voyager connects directly to your phone via a LAN (similar to Bluetooth signal) and works best when your phone stays relatively close to the camera. It doesn’t require phone signal or data and the live video feed is viewed via a free app on your phone.
- Venture includes its own screen / monitor and offers a longer-range wireless connection, making it ideal for larger trailers and longer towing setups. It doesn’t use data or need signal or WIFI.
How far does the Venture camera work?
The Venture delivers a reliable live video feed, up to 40 metres (131 ft) and can reach up to 100 metres (328 ft)in open areas without obstructions. Actual performance may vary depending on the size of your vehicle and any objects between the camera and monitor.
The screen shows ‘no signal’– what do I do?
1. Check that the camera is charged and turned on. Once turned on, blue lights will show on the front face of the camera indicating how much battery is available.
2. Place the camera and the screen closer together to make sure the issue isn’t caused by the camera being out of range of the screen.
3. If the above steps have not solved the issue, you may need to pair your camera and screen manually. To do this, press the ‘settings’ button on the screen’ then press the ‘pairing’ button (with a picture of a camera omitting a signal) and follow the prompts to pair your camera
Does the Venture camera have night vision?
Yes. The Venture camera features infrared night vision, allowing you to monitor your horse in low-light and nighttime conditions. The night vision automatically activates in low light
